We are excited to be working with a growing SME food business who operates internationally and is home to several well-known brands. I am looking for an experienced supply chain professional to join their team and manage a portfolio of products by creating demand plans, supply and production plans and managing the inbound logistics to support the supply chain function. Currently this role does not have direct reports, however there is an exciting succession plan in place which would offer a clear route for progression.
About the role
Ownership of demand planning and forecasting for a portfolio of goods.
Collaborating with customers to produce accurate forecasts and plan for promotions.
Manage and review forecast of the customer, and present this at the monthly S&OP meetings.
Manage inventory and stock levels.
Create production plans and communicate them to the manufacturing sites.
Manage the inbound logistics.
About you
Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles
Background in food businesses
Strong understanding of the end to end supply chain.
Strong ability to influence
Strong team working and collaboration skills
Able to build strong relationships
Strong analytical skills. Experience working with Excel.
