IT Procurement Senior Buyer

This role would suit an experienced senior level buyer in the IT category who is looking to join a huge name engineering and construction company. Exciting new projects and successes mean the IT procurement function, which manages a spend of £90m, require a Senior IT Buyer to plan and implement IT projects and oversee the whole end to end IT procurement process.

This role is based in the West Midlands

IT Infrastructure Procurement Buyer Role Overview:

• Display exceptional stakeholder management skills, liaising with internal stakeholders including wider procurement teams, IT managers and estimating teams
• Be responsible for developing and implementing IT procurement projects and initiatives in keeping with the companies overall aims and customer demand focussing on IT infrastructure and cloud systems
• Oversee the supplier relationship management strategy and prepare relevant RFI's, contract negotiations and communication processes
• Analyse and keep up to date with market trends, potential risks and performance to identify areas for improvement

IT Procurement Senior Buyer Requirements:

• Experience of the implementing and designing IT procurement strategies specifically working on crucial and innovative projects
• Proven end to end supply chain experience including managing supplier relationships, negotiation and adding value
• Managerial or supervisory experience in an IT procurement role is desirable
• MCIPS desirable, but educational track record essential
• British or EU passport or holding a valid visa allowing you to live and work in the UK without any restriction

Salary: £500-600 Per Day
