Regional Transport Manager
Glasgow
£45,000 - £50,000 + Car + Benefits
Role Profile
Our client, who are a well-known Logistics business, are looking to recruit a Regional Transport Manager to oversee a number of depots, based in Glasgow. Reporting into the Distribution Manager, you will oversee a medium sized team of drivers and vehicles, as well as overall site responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Drivers and Vehicles across the depots
Ensure H&S safety and compliance regulations are adhered to at all times
Meeting and exceeding customers expectations
Development of staff across all functions
Managing performance issues such as disciplinaries and absence
Ensure Transport compliance across the fleet
Complete the admin duties required across the depots
Complete any HR related issuesRequired Skills & Experience
CPC is essential
Health & Safety qualifications desirable
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience of conducting any HR related issues desirable
Unionised environment experience would be advantageousRemuneration
