My client, a leader in construction and refurbishment are seeking a Bid Manager for an 8 month fixed term contract. This role can be based out of their Wolverhampton or Sheffield office.


About the role

You will be responsible for the management and completion of high quality bid submissions with values of up to £250m. You will read and understand the key bid requirements, identify and communicate evaluation criteria, plan, write and coordinate submission responses, liaise with estimators and subject matter experts, review all bids prior to submission, manage site visit requirements, managing client follows ups and maintaining accurate records of win / loss rates. 


About you

The successful candidate will ideally come from a construction background however similar sectors may be considered. You must have a proven track record of successfully winning bids and be confident working alone as well as part of a team. Previous experience using Microsoft programmes is essential and InDesign experience would be an advantage. 


What’s in it for you

The salary banding for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience + £5,500 car allowance + benefits package.
