Supply Chain Planner

Would you like to work within the fast-paced food industry, where no two days are the same?

My client is looking for a Supply Chain Planner. You will help to drive the business’ Supply Chain department forward through forward planning and maintaining excellent relationships with high value suppliers.
 
This business has maintained steady growth for a number of years are looking for someone who has a passion for the food industry.
 
Your New Role

Apart from improving your culinary skills with their great products you will be responsible for;
 

• Accurately forecasting supply based on demand forecasts.
• Managing key suppliers and ensuring stock levels are at optimum levels.
• Controlling the 3PLs to ensuring deliveries are met OTIF and addressing any issues that you could encounter
• Constantly analysing stock to make sure there is no obsoletes

 
About You

To be successful in this role your experience will look something like this:

• Supply planning experience within FMCG (Food or Drink)
• Experience of managing 3PLs
• Experience with using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (SAP, Navision, JD Edwards etc)
• Examples of to improving processes and adding value to the businesses
• You have ideas of how to move stock and manage inventory
