Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our successful manufacturing client based in the Falkirk area. This role will form a critical part of the Procurement team and will ideally suit candidates with a solid background in purchasing a wide range of commodities and negotiations with suppliers.
Role:
To develop and support Purchasing objectives and KPI's by managing and supporting the supply base. To define and execute projects in the areas of:
Sourcing
Cost Reduction
Supplier Development
Supplier ManagementCandidate:
Knowledge of all aspects of Procurement including Sourcing, Negotiation and Supplier Management.
Strong commercial/business acumen.
Good negotiation and persuasion skills. Ability to convince others and influence the outcome.
Must be capable of networking and building strong relationships both internally, and externally at all levels
