As the Operations Manager (Care at Home) you will be required to lead and manage social work and health services for adults and older people within Renfrewshire and to contribute towards meeting the strategic needs of the Health and Social Care Partnership and the Council.

To work jointly in an integrated way with key stakeholders by providing a seamless service that will meet service user's individual outcomes, supporting them to live at home or in a homely environment for as long as possible, ensuring effective, efficient and customer focussed services are provided to Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership service users and carers.

You will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the internally provided Care At Home services, including the multi-disciplinary re-ablement teams; extra care housing; meals provision and telecare services and be responsible for the commissioning of services provided through the external framework and to ensure effective care management arrangements are in place for service users and that there is effective monitoring of standards across all services provided.

It is essential that you are educated to SVQ level 4/Registered Managers Award plus an SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 9 or SVQ level 4/Registered Managers Award plus a relevant degree or professional qualification in social work/care, health or equivalent and be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

It is essential that you have demonstrable experience at a management level in a social care or health setting together with a strong understanding of all aspects of adult and older people services, the issues impacting these services and service integration delivery models

You will also possess a strong focus on service users and carers involvement in the delivery and development of services.
