Operations/Depot Manager
Basingstoke
£35,000 + car
A logistics organisation with a network of branches delivering consumer goods across the UK, seeks a Manager for their depot in Basingstoke. Our client is going through a period of growth and needs an experienced distribution professional to take responsibility for the total operation including the day to day management of staff P&L, contract growth and the warehousing and transport operational processes so therefore a CPC is essential as is experience of running multi-temperature vehicles. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with strong people skills and effective influencing abilities along with the capacity to quickly build long-lasting business relationships. A sound commercial acumen is required as are clear written and spoken communication skills. Previous experience within an FMCG environment would be highly advantageous.
