Role: HR Operations Manager - EMEA

I am looking for a HR Operations Manager to join a leading international retail business in a newly created position. This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist who loves the operational aspect of their role but also shows strong business partnering skills. You will therefore be able to bring with you creative ideas and capability to their business. You will have a natural love for building and re-newing policies and processes on an international basis, and truly acting as the lynch pin for the HR team ensuring everything is in place.
This role will act as the engine room for People Systems, Process, Planning, Metrics, Employment Policy, Reward, & central co-ordinator for Group employee engagement and initiatives. They need someone who can hit the ground running on the planning and implementation of a brand-new system into HR, along with maintenance development of current systems. This will require you to work closely with the current Head of Talent Acquisition and Head of Learning & Development on how best to effectively develop and plan for future systems.
Experience working across European countries is a must, as well as being an expertise in local employment legislation across one or more European countries.
Key responsibilities include:
Systems & Processes: implementing a new HRIS and strong exposure to HR business processes
Legal: the ability to use your knowledge of change, policy and legal processes across an international basis, including experience in consultation for change and working with work councils
Relocations: advising on relocations of employees across international locations and looking at contracts and taxation
Employee Engagement: employee surveys and communications
Leadership: experience in leading a multiple country HR operations function within a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
Reward: managing reward and payroll functions, with an understanding of organisation design and job evaluation
Additional experience will be in relation to process mapping, case management, compliance and looking at commericial service delivery rules and understand the language of a true operating model.
