Cyber Security Operations Manager

Our client, an exciting FMCG company are looking for a Cyber Security Operations Manager to lead the Security Operations Centre team based in Peterborough.

• Management and development of the Security Operations Centre team
• Ownership of our security product portfolio, overseeing the development of (bespoke and COTS) solutions, and monitoring their effectiveness
• Understanding, reporting and improving the performance of our security services
• Owning the relationship with peers in customer security teams to ensure we understand their change initiatives, and associated security needs.
• Deputising for the Head of Security Operations when required
• Managing 3rd party relationships with our chosen security partners
• Owning the development, maintenance, and execution of response processes and procedures to ensure timely response to detected cyber security events
• Coordinating Cyber incident simulations to test and improve our detection processes.
• Working with other companies in the ABF group to share threat information and best practice.
• Coordinating forensics, IR and Threat Intelligence services through third party agreements.

• Previous experience of managing a Security Operations Centre team
• Demonstrable experience of maturing a security function through the development of people, process and technology
• Experience of working within a large and diverse IT landscape
• Experience of owning and managing significant security Incidents
• Experience of working with a MSSP (preferably in a blended environment)
• An understanding of security standards and risk management
• Working knowledge of security technologies, such as SIEM, NGFW, SOAR, Case Management, AV and IDS/IPS.
