Job Title: Procurement Data Analyst

Location: Stevenage

Job Type: 6 month Contract

Rate: £40 - £45 per hour

ARM are currently recruiting for a Procurement Data Analyst with experience providing Data and Dashboard support within the Procurement/ Supply Chain domain for an initial 6 month contract opportunity with a world leading defence company in Stevenage.

The main responsibility of the Procurement Data Analyst based in Stevenage will be:

  • Supporting the Stakeholders to set up and deploy the effective use of data to support their processes and key management decisions in UK:
  • To be the UK focus for the development and delivery of Dashboards
  • Generate, monitor and improve delivery of national KPIs (e.g. On-Time, On-Quality)
  • Create and Update KPI definitions
  • Assist Run KPI consolidation at Group
  • Organise & run Data\KPI Improvement workshops
  • Provide expertise to the end users on the utilisation of Data Analytic Tools (Power BI)
  • Support Data lake design & Development
  • Investigate Machine learning and Natural language search for Procurement using google data analytics platform
  • Develop the AI platform for Procurement & Supply Chain
  • Delivering the role across all parts of the Procurement & Supply Chain community
  • Influencing the Procurement Community Teams to make changes to approaches that have been traditionally used for many years
  • Building the data lake from a number of new and old systems
  • Ensuring actions are accepted and delivered by the 'operational pillars'

The ideal Procurement Data Analyst able to work in Stevenage will have experience of the following:

  • Data/ Computer Science based degree or equivalent experience in data analysis at degree level. Business School qualified or a recognised qualification in Engineering
  • Experience within Procurement/ Supply Chain
  • Experience supporting the development and maintenance of data structures and master data governance
  • Experience and understanding of Data Analysis techniques and Reporting Tools Nature of Impact
  • Support to operational performance and risk mitigation across the Global Company by improvement of the procurement and supply chain approach
  • Previous experience within a similar environment (Defence, Aerospace, Engineering etc)
