Clearfield are currently recruiting for a Buyer in the Ipswich area for an established Residential Developer, operating across Essex and Suffolk. This company specialise in the new build residential homes. The company package is designed around the individual candidate based on their previous experience.
Key responsibilities:
Send out enquiries for appropriate materials, collate and analyse quotations
Place orders for specified materials ensuring goods are delivered on the required date
Consolidate purchases of materials/Sage Purchase Ledger input
Chase deliveries from suppliers that are overdue or urgent
Process invoice queries
What we're looking for:
Knowledge, understanding and experience of the Residential sector
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
Build strong, long-term relationships with suppliers & sub contractors
Previous experience within Buying within the construction sector
Strong administration and organisational skills
Excellent negotiation skills
The successful candidate will be entitled to the company bonus scheme, a company car or car allowance, pension, private medical cover, sharesave scheme, voluntary flexible benefits, discount vouchers and the opportunity to buy extra holiday
