A well-established Main Contractor seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to work on a long-term project near Portsmouth.
The Logistics Manager will work alongside the project team on this large residential project enabling the project to run smoothly. Duties will include:
Performing site inductions and ensure inductees have necessary qualifications
Coordinating labour, plant, and materials around site efficiently
Ensuring that pedestrian walkways and traffic management barriers are tidy and remain secure
Controlling materials in and out of site by scheduling deliveries to specific time slots
Ensure signage on site is internationally recognised and maintained in accordance with company policy
Coordinating waste and skip removal
Maintain PPE stocks and issue any necessary PPE to visitorsThe Logistics Manager will have experience in the Construction industry ideally with a tier one main contractor in a similar role. Applicants will need to have strong communication skills, hold valid CSCS card and either SMSTS/SSSTS
