Contracts Manager - Restoration - Peterborough

Looking for somebody with ideally some restoration experience of multi trades, roofing –(slating, leadwork, stainless steels & zinc) masonry & stonework, traditional plastering.
So preferably from a restoration, heritage background or with some of this in their career path if not exclusively this, with some experience of metal roofing (a lot of churches these days have hard metal roofs instead of lead.)
The ability to plan ahead, think logically & problem solve themselves with speed of though & good communication.
The ability to retain clients & gain repeat business whilst be strong enough to stand up for at the same time.
Someone with in depth experience of roofing/cladding and restoration industry along with hard metals and flat roofing systems knowledge.
In terms of personality, someone who is robust, has logical thought planning, the ability to work with people and develop relationships, is self-managing
IT skills – Asta and Excel for programming, Word and Outlook for general day to day.
In the growing professional environment of construction it will be of great importance that the Contracts Manager/Supervisor will continue to ensure the development of key staff and subcontractors in all trade skills along with oral and written communication they require, to ensure that we constantly meet our clients demands for the Timely and Safely delivering of our projects to the high standards achieved in the past that have earned our position as an award winning contractor.
Having a proven track record in dealing with site labour and the procurement of labour only subcontractors, they will have the drive and ambition to expand your previous knowledge to encompass new disciplines undertaken by the company
