Commercial Contracts Manager - Fibre Contracts

Location: London

Salary - to £65K plus + bonus

Due to successful growth and transformation of this large telecoms business, a position has arisen for a Commercial Contracts Manager responsible for Fibre Contracts who will be responsible for designing and delivering compelling products and propositions and driving revenue and growth.

Essential Criteria for this role:

Experience within contract or product management, proposition development, or business consulting
Experience and understanding of legal frameworks and regulatory compliance in the telecoms industry strongly preferred
Strong commercial acumen, financial and analytical skills - proven ability to create and underpin complex propositions and track benefits realisation
Primary concept development experience - creativity ideas and customer insight are critical to generate new propositions
Influencing skills, able to influence key internal and external stakeholders, including commercial and product directors, via superior communications skills in order to drive the change agenda for the business.The role:

You will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end commercial management of the businesses largest-ever commercial deal.
You need to be highly effective at administering in-life contracts (in accordance with the commercial terms as well legal and regulatory obligations), customer management, influencing cross-functional as well as senior-level stakeholders across the business.
You will need to champion new complex initiates and be able to work in a very fast-paced environment as part of a small, highly skilled team, and driving revenue & loss impacting changes in the wider organisation.
Lead management of designated contracts working closely with the internal teams throughout the execution phase as well as the account teams to support customer engagement and resolution of disputes/escalations - major contract to be managed which will provide main CP customers £1.8 billion of discounts over the next 5 years, with longer-term focus to manage 1-2 major contracts and/or 3 commercial propositions that are live at any given time
Manage execution and compliance with all contractual requirements - these include but not limited to monitoring performance against targets, periodic reporting to CPs, execution of complex commercial KPIs working closely with billing/finance and MIS teams, tracking and monitoring of deliverables and contract changes
Manage risk triggers and periodic legal and regulatory compliance of the contract/proposition to ensure risks are understood and mitigations in place
Drive execution and success of complex propositions. Conduct regular commercial reviews and ensure the business cases are up-to-date with the latest insights and assumptions
Provide insight into the Reporting and Forecasting, Products, CIO teams to support operational readiness
Support in continuously managing a pipeline of opportunities that support the short and long terms growth objectives
Optimise the success of new initiatives through a clear understanding of the key drivers that impact any opportunity - customers, legal/regulatory, operational and business performancePlease note, this is a permanent opportunity with an excellent benefits package
