Operations Director

Clements Grey has engaged with key client who is a large Manufacturing/Engineering organisation based in the Leicester . An exciting opportunity has become available for an Operations Director on a permanent basis.

As a key representative of manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for driving overall operational strategy across production sites for a high value manufacturing business.

Through a strong knowledge base in manufacturing operations, you will help reshape internal manufacturing procedures to increase capacity and drive sales potential. In a multi-site role you will be responsible for hands-on, day to day running of a fast paced manufacturing facility as well as driving strategic direction of an additional manufacturing site. Be a key influencer in driving continuous improvement across production facilities.

Through a commercial mind-set, deliver and execute manufacturing programmes. As an excellent communicator, motivator and influencer, you will ensure the company vision, strategy, policies and best practice procedures are driven throughout the facilities.

It is essential you have experience leading Manufacturing Operations at Director level within a large manufacturing engineering organisation. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems. Exceptional communication skills as a motivator and influencer, with the ability to work in a hands-on management role, as well as driving strategic direction to create positive change across plant teams. Demonstrable knowledge and execution of continuous improvement principles within a manufacturing environment.
