Role: Finance Manager - Operations (1 Year FTC)

Due to a temporary internal move, we have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager within the Operations Department. The role would suit a newly qualified/almost qualified professional who enjoys the analytical side of accounting and wants to learn some new skills.

The key responsibilities are to effectively manage the finance team so that timely, accurate and relevant financial information is available to the Society’s Board, Regulators and other internal customers and that the control environment is maintained at benchmark levels.

Essential criteria for the role;

  • Provide leadership to a small team
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
  • Regulatory reporting for PRA/BOE/BSA
  • Production of monthly board pack
  • Management of Fixed Assets
  • Oversee Payroll function
  • Support for business systems upgrades
  • Maintaining a control environment
  • Providing support for Audits
  • Positive attitude, ability to manage change
  • Be able to be in the detail but be able to also see the bigger picture
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Experience in Change management is desirable but not essential.
