Joinery Contracts Manager
Job – Joinery Contracts Manager
Location: Head Office, South West Essex (due to location car driver essential).
Hours of work: 8am-5pm (may vary depending on site needs/travel etc.)
Salary Range: Up to £40 -£50,000
Brooks-Harper Recruitment is currently seeking a Joinery Contracts Manager for our forward thinking, growing client in Essex.
Working on many commercial “city” projects; our client deals with a wide range of clients in the commercial, education, security and leisure sector.
Many commercial projects demand a combination of high specification designs with a wide choice of finishes in order to meet the expectations of occupiers and to secure blue-chip tenants for building owners.
The Job & What you will bring to the Table:
* Post-holder will be required to run their own projects liaising with the onsite factory and other teams
* Project value ranges from £20,000 up to £1m
* must be comfortable working to tight deadlines
* retaining high quality levels and maintaining the company’s industry leading levels of customer service
* Multi-tasking ability to manage pressure and strong joinery knowledge are essential. Individual must be very organised but also flexible
Who you will work with:
You will be working externally with the clients and internally with;
* the estimating team
* the CAD team
* factory managers and joiners
* site fitters
* purchasing
* stores
* other site suppliers
In summary:
The post-holder needs excellent client skills but crucially you must be able to build relationships and work with existing teams to get things done effectively. Things can and will go wrong, so strong resilience and ability to remain calm when things go wrong and move forward are key.
