Electrical Contracts Manager - North London

Package: £45K-55K (dependant on experience) + Bonus + Vehicle Allowance

Electrical Contracts Manager needed. This position for an electrical contract's manager will be on a perm basis. Our client is an electrical contractor with coverage across London and surrounding areas. The electrical contracts manager will ideally need to have experience working on different commercial & residential projects. Other experience is welcomed.

Candidates with no previous contracts/projects management experience may be considered. As long as you have some managerial/supervisory experience.

Qualifications

City and Guilds 2360 Part 1+2 or 2330 Level 3

17th Edition as minimum 18th desirable.

Formal project management qualification desirable, (e.g. Prince 2)

City and Guilds 2391 desirable

Key Duties

• Managing various projects across various sites
• Manage Labour allocations to contracts
• Technical knowledge and problem solving to aid engineers
• Audit all incoming electrical certificates for designated contracts to ensure compliance is met
• Weekly site visits to ensure all H&S requirements are being met and standards of workmanship being upheld.
• Client meetings, monthly program meeting etc
• Quoting of smaller project works.
• Manage a team of electrical engineers and dedicated Contracts Administrator.

Requirements:

• Must have experience managing commercial projects with a value of at least £1 Million
• Well presented
• Articulate in written & spoken English
• Flexible in hours of work
• Project manager will need to hold electrical qualifications. E.g. 17th edition or 2391.
• Previous experience working in a commercial environment.
