This is the jobLeading one of the most important divisions of the AA Driving School, this is a dynamic role helping to shape the future of our operations. As the head of a small team we’re looking for an analytical, entrepreneurial and engaging person to revise how we see our fleet operations, optimise them for maximum efficiency and ultimately drive profitability for the business.
What will I be doing?- Creating a data led, fast paced, entrepreneurial process and culture for our fleet operations
- Optimizing utilisation and delivering maximum profit on re-sale
- Delivering a world class service for our customers when they have a related vehicle challenge
- Managing daily operations for commercial contracts
- Working with AA Group to collaborate on wider relationships (OEMs, Fleet, Business Services)
- Supporting Group Procurement with tender process, including identification and implementation of strategic relationships, e.g. for electric vehicles.
- Working with Finance to develop robust models for creating a profitable fleet. Supporting the reconciliation and validation processes for invoice authorisation ensuring payments are made within agreed payment terms.
- Working with the AA Insurance team and instructors to optimise the self-funded car insurance for maximum commercial value.
