One of our clients is seeking an HR Operations Manager, who will report to the ­­­­Head of HR, and will manage a tea of 4. You will be be responsible for leading and managing the provision of high quality, consistent HR advice and HR administration services to ensure legal compliance and exceed KPI's.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

  • Manage a team of HR advisors to provide a full range of HR administration which should exceed the KPI's, maximise productivity, build team confidence, engagement and effectiveness
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of the employee lifecycle transactional activity and to facilitate the integrity of all HR data held in the systems.
  • A key responsibility will be to set up generic and consistent HR processes within the function to be embedded throughout the business and carry out regular process reviews and improvements to increase delivery and team productivity
  • Ensure that all advice given to managers, employees and external parties is of a high quality, consistent and delivered in a customer focused way
  • Work with Head of HR on a wide variety of projects and identify improvements/changes to scope and roles and responsibilities for the area
  • Support with the sourcing and implementation of a brand new HR system into the business

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of managing a Shared Service Centre or Operational / Transactional HR function
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and gain creditability at all employee levels up to Senior Director. Needs the ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding customers' needs and requirements
  • Process and System implementation or improvement experience
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience of managing a team and ability to develop employees and manage training requirements
  • Self-motivated, organised and self-reliant with the ability to engage at all levels
  • Ability to respond to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace, using initiative to resolve issues/problems
  • Professional, able to work under pressure, enthusiastic and committed to working within their team effectively support the needs of the business
