My client are a privately owned development contractor based and working across North Wales and the North West. They have a strong reputation, built over a number of years, for delivering quality housing developments and care facilities, often for repeat clients and sometimes as client/developer themselves.

Due to the continued success they are seeking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join them. As the Contracts Manager you will report directly into the Divisional Director and will be responsible for the control of a number of projects ranging in value of £5m - £15m in and around North Wales.

You will be an experienced Contracts Manager, having sat in the role for a minimum of 5 years elsewhere, overseeing new build housing and care facility developments of a similar build value.

Role Responsibilities:

Effective Health and Safety Management of live projects.
Deliver quality projects within set time parameters.
Achieve customer satisfaction through effective handover and aftercare.
Assist in the establishment and maintenance of companies site image.
Management of staff ensuring they carry out their duties in accordance with policies, procedures and ultimately programme.
Assist in the achievement of set project profit targets.
Responsible for the management, planning, programming & phasing of all projects.
Ensuring compliance with all aspects of both Health & Safety Legislation and internal ISO accredited Management System.
Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people within it.
Managing effective meetings; pre-start, hand-over meetings, sub-contractor progress, contract progress, internal team meetings as required.
Supporting effective recruitment and selection processes to appoint suitable site management staff.
Applying a leadership style which is in line with the overall culture and values of the business.
Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.
Coaching team members to foster performance.Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as Contracts Manager managing multiple contracts
New build projects from £1m to £15m
SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS card are a must.
Ideally from a trade background
