A new opportunity located in the West Midlands has arisen with a successful, five star House Builder. They are looking for an ambitious Land Buyer to join their Land team.
This team is responsible for identifying and sourcing new Land opportunities for new developments across the patch. You will need to be a strong team player but also be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
You will need to be a good assessor of risks, and an even better relationship builder to secure a high quality future land bank. Land buying experience is essential for this role so if you're currently working for a house builder / land promoter or in a land acquisition role, this is ideal.
Key responsibilities
• Identification of potential development opportunities and production of professional land packs.
• Liaise with relevant divisional departments eg. Sales, Technical, Commercial and external consultants throughout the land appraisal and bid process and during planning application.
• Maintain and expand your network, eg. land agents, land owners.
• Assist the Land Director on major projects and with other relevant duties as required.
• Support the Land Managers in the identification and acquisition of sites.
• Research and provide appropriate information to Land team on potential development opportunities.
