Sales/ Export Director

Field Based (Travel involved - Middle East/ Asia)

Automotive/ Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer (Trucks/ Bus & Coach)

Up to £80,000pa + Car

The Role

This role will be responsible for building the company's sales in new and existing territories worldwide. Home Based.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the completion of tenders in major markets. Work with Aftersales and Engineering in developing bespoke international solutions

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to define development markets

  • Develop opportunities and distribution by expanding relationships with the wider group

  • Main point of contact for the business at international sales conferences & events

  • Work with established European distribution to grow sales

  • Leverage existing product offerings internationally in new markets

The Person

Essential

  • Leadership of key account management within the heavy plant industry/ commercial vehicle industry or similar industries

  • Proven track record in high value B2B Business development (international)

  • Able to achieve agreed targets and drive sales growth (plan, set, monitor and review)

  • Self-reliant

  • Comfortable with extended overseas travel in development markets

  • Work effectively within teams and able to influence cross functionally

  • Full Driving Licence & Passport

  • Degree Qualified in a relevant discipline

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Desirable:

Direct experience of the UK Truck/ Bus & Coach industry via the supply chain or direct with OEM's
