Bonfire Recruitment have an exciting Supply Chain Analyst opportunity for a retained client, an established and growing food production business based in West Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role will offer the right candidate the chance to gain great experience and fast track their career
Requirements
* Optimise the supply chain to minimise downtime and demurrage charges
* Ordering stocks of raw materials from suppliers – Issue PO’s; Manage stocks in accordance with agreed rules and procedure
* Order packaging and manage stocks
* Management of slow moving stocks
* Monthly stock check reconciliation
* Effectively communicate any risks within the business to key stakeholders
* Managing packaging NPD work within the NPD process
Looking to speak to candidates with the following :
* Data literacy – strong numerical reasoning
* MS Office skills – particularly Excel and Outlook
* Strong attention to detail
* Problem solving aptitude
* Familiarity with supply chain processes
* Good interpersonal skills – especially an ability to communicate externally with suppliers and internally with colleagues
