A new opportunity has arisen for a Materials Buyer to join a regional contractor based in Southampton. You will be working for a reputable contractor that specialise in the residential industry. Previous experience working for a contractor or developer is essential.

Salary up to £40,000

Responsibilities:

Purchase all materials needed for projects
Develop strong relationships with existing suppliers
To be persistent in chasing suppliers for deliveries
Assist with enquiresExperience required:

Construction product knowledge & experience
Good Material knowledge
Knowledge of suppliers in construction industry
Excellent Negotiating skills
Ideally experience working on residential projectsBenefits;
