Export Freight Forwarder-AIR/SEA*Contract

Export Freight Forwarder is needed! Freight Livestock Specialist is inviting all Air Exports Forwarders who would be interested in this contract to apply today! This is for the Export Department and it covers all aspects of both AIR & SEA exports; except of general cargo you will be involved in the movement of live animals. This a 12-month fixed term contract. Ideal position for animal lovers!
Snapshot of duties;
The role in few words entails; customer quotations, liaising with airlines, shipping lines, 3rd part logistics providers, completion of AWB, bills of lading, export entries and other freight administration. Providing quality, efficient and effective services to the highest standards of excellence and at the most cost-effective ways.
Requirements;
Quite confident in AIRFREIGHT EXPORTS
Previous experience of Sea freight Exports will be an advantage otherwise training will be provided
Willing to “pitch in” where necessary but main focus will be on Exports
Full Clean Driving Licence
Be prepared to cover early starts and for call outs on Saturday, you will get guaranteed time
back in lieu
Use of ASM Sequoia & BoxTop -IT Software
DBS application form to be completed once successful
5 Year referencing to be provided with final application
Start date of employment with new Employer on the 2nd December
