This role is working for a large pharmaceutical manufacturing client. Who are recruiting for an inventory controller on a 12 month contract.

Job Summary:

To manage inventory held across Contract Manufacturers and Satellite Warehouse, in partnership with the CMO, Quality Control, Procurement, Planning, and Logistics.
To manage SAP Purchase Orders for CMO components and services as required
To complete SAP consumption transactions, to align inventory and enable batch genealogy reporting with manufacturing at CMO
To continuously review systems, ensure appropriate inventory levels are kept and improve materials availability, whilst minimising cost due to write-offs.Key Skills:

Minimum of 2 years experience working with SAP and in a Supply Chain environment.
Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferable but not essential.
Confident Communicator.
Good level of experience using excel.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured environment.Responsibilities:

1.

· Monitor and proactively maintain inventory levels across the business as agreed through

the S&OP process.

· Responsible for raising SAP Purchase orders in accordance with agreed lead times, for both CMO components and services

· Responsible for completing all SAP transactions for consumption and receipt of material at intermediate and finished pack level at the CMO, in the SAP system

· Create delivery schedules and maintain regular tracking of material status in preparation for use in CMO

· Monitor stock receipt and engage with the relevant supplier to ensure all required documentation is received

· Monitor and follow up testing and batch release status of materials at all location

· Provide forecasted material requirements to procurement and external suppliers

· Monitor SAP inventory reports using data from the ERP system and monitor inventory levels to ensure they are aligned

· Proactively ensure inventory reconciliation is continuously maintained through adjustments and transactions with close coordination with Finance.

· Resolve errors and /or discrepancies with inventory transactions on a continuous basis

· Manage short dated or slow moving inventory and items in short supply to implement improvement strategies and corrective actions. Prepare monthly reports summarizing key strategies and actions.

· Management of stock shelf life at CMO and satellite warehouse

· Prepare monthly provision listing with the value of potential write-offs and submit to the

Financial Accountant and the relevant stakeholders.

· Manage all inventory write-offs by gaining approval from relevant internal stakeholders

according to the relevant SOP's.

· Work collaboratively with Manufacturing CMO's and Planning to analyse actual vs planned usage, manage purchasing parameters and inventory plans following item usage/planning

· Analyse internal demand and external supplier parameters to develop and implement ordering strategies to achieve optimal inventory levels across business

· Forward analysis of future scenarios and 'what if' solutions

· Regularly review safety stock, inventory levels and replenishment for all items

· Develop and prepare KPI reports to provide a health check on Inventory across the business

· Responsible for ownership and periodic review of Site Operating Procedures that are

specific to the role

· Conduct and participate in projects as directed

· Evaluate and make recommendations for improving Supply Chain systems and processes

· Participate as required in the integration activities

· Support the site pandemic requirements

· Working closely with procurement to facilitate component negotiation with suppliers

· Perform other duties as assigned.

And other job duties that may be assigned from time to time.

· provide holiday & absence cover as well as support when needed across the supply chain team

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.45pm and Friday 8am - 1pm, a total of 37.5 hours per week.
