JOB ROLE: Operations Manager - Large Format/ Signage
SALARY: £30K - £35K DOE
LOCATION: St. Neots

My client, a Large Format print and Signage company based in St. Neots, are looking for a focused, dedicated, dynamic and enthusiastic Operations Manager.

This role requires prior industry experience, responsible for two key activities:

*Centre management - lead and run a busy production centre and team of Printers, Finishers, Sign makers and Installers for one of the UKs largest, most successful Large Format and Signage companies, as and when the need arises. Typically, this aspect of the role is required during business 'turnarounds' or between sales. The applicant would be driven, motivated and organised, able to work independently to coordinate the profitable running of all aspects of the centre.
*Coaching and support - provide coaching and support across the group nationally to drive best practices and adherence to standards. Sharing hands on skills, experience and techniques.

Roles and Responsibilities of an Operations Manager:

*Drive best practices and quality standards across the group
*Provide coaching on all aspects of running a Print and Signage company - including sales generation, quoting, pricing, production and installation
*Conduct the internal investigation of compliance issues within the network and deliver outcome/remedial action
*Conduct periodic reviews to ensure that compliance procedures and standards are followed and being met
*Provide product, industry and supplier knowledge to the group
*Manage relationships with key suppliers.
*Take on Operations manager role - running a centre during short turnaround phase
*Ensure exceptional customer service and quality solutions are provided across the group at all times

Requirements for an Operations Manager:

*Large Format and Signage industry experience - essential
*Ability to coach, support and persuade
*Strong attention to detail
*Experience implementing new processes or change
*Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to deliver required outcome
*Empathetic to the challenges faced by business owners
*Excellent time management and planning skills
*Committed to continuous education through engagement with our network
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Be self-motivated and proactive
*Be positive and confident
*Driving license - essential
*MIS system knowledge advantageous
*CSCS card advantageous
*Experience having led and managed a production team/operation team
