They are a part of a registered charity whose mission is to provide access to credit and other financial services for those excluded from mainstream providers who may otherwise fall prey to predatory lenders.
They are seeking an inspiring operational leader who can enhance performance and ensure the organisation operates within a strong operational and people development framework. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of lending operations in a financial services environment with focus on continual improvement and promoting a culture of operational excellence.
The successful candidate will demonstrate motivational leadership and nurture an environment where the team can excel through encouragement and empowerment, recognising individual potential and fostering development.
- Experienced leader with excellent people management skills and a strong customer focus;
- Understanding of UK Credit Industry Regulation (Consumer Credit Act);
- Experience of FCA regulatory framework (CONC);
- Proven ability to lead projects and change.
- Wide exposure to the full credit lifecycle including acquisition / underwriting, fraud, account management, collections and recoveries;
- Ability to deliver clear and accurate reporting;
- Strong knowledge risk management and audit procedures;
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Salary & Benefits:
- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
