Job Title: Materials Logistics Technician
Salary & Benefits: Up to £30,000 per annum (DOE), plus 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire
We are recruiting for a Materials Logistics Technician to join a global leading Manufacturer of laboratory and pharmaceutical equipment. The company have specialised in the design and manufacture of automated systems used for supporting research and drug discovery.
The successful Materials Logistics technician will come from a Stores Logistic environment and ideally a manufacturing/production background with a demonstrable ability to input and manage data.
Materials Logistics Technician Requirements:
Proven experience in Stores and Logistics environment
Knowledge of working in an Engineering Manufacturing environment or similar
Demonstrable ability to input and manage date
Familiar with MS Office
Qualified to GCSE level in English and Maths
Forklift Licence
'Can do' Attitude
Team worker with good people skills
Driving LicenceMaterials Logistics Technician Responsibilities:
Work closely with Planning and Production
Working with the team to agree and receive priorities
Manage the supply of items and Kanban to set locations
Monitor Kanban items and adjust supply quantities where necessary
Carry out stock checks on Kanban materials
Ensure SAP/ERP is kept up to date at all times
Load and Unload Stores van deliveries
Deliver Kits Line side
Book in and deliver materials line side
Packing and shipping of semi-finished goods
Forklift Driving and occasionally cover van runs
