This rapidly expanding business are recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager who will be responsible for sourcing new suppliers, negotiating/managing contracts that range in value, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

Developing negotiation strategies, utilising supplier cost & contract terms and conditions.
Identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Ensuring that suppliers deliver on their contract commitments and track their performance.
Handling disputes with suppliers.
Driving for cultivating and maintaining the supplier relationships.
Contribute to the development and the implementation of the overall procurement strategy.
Work together with QA to ensure that existing and new suppliers are and remain fully compliant with GMP and GDP.
Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
Notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
Take proactive actions to improve and increase efficiency of Supply Chain.

Skills / Experience Required:

At least 5 years' experience in procurement.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to plan and forecast.
Ability to individually steer price/contract negotiation and resolving disputes.
Proactive attitude and self-motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in influencing others.
Bachelors or Masters' degree and CIPS/MCIPS highly desirable.
