It’s all about supply and demand, right?

There’s always a need for comforters and cuddly toys to keep you and your loved ones warm during those winter months. You go make your choice, bunny or bear? You buy one and don’t usually think about the go-between.

Everything that it took to get that furry friend to the shelf.

You know exactly what goes into it though.

How do you expect to sell those popular, winter warmers without them making their way to the stores in the first place? Exactly, you can’t. So that’s where you come in.

You’ll be doing what it says in your title. Managing the supply chain. This means everything from managing inventory levels, holding responsibility for control of costs, supporting projects and delivering first class service. Those extra touches that make all the difference.

You’ll be familiar with terms such as FOB, SIOP and MOQs, so we’re not going to patronise you by telling you what they mean. It’s a nice office, open plan with friendly faces so you’ll be in good company.

While you’ll be primarily managing a function, you will be well accustomed to people management and getting the most out of your production staff.

Taking instruction, delegating tasks, as and when necessary, and liaising with key stakeholders means. You’re not a one-man band, and you won’t be expected to do it all.

So, what’s next?

The salary is on at £35,000 to £40,000 so if that suits your expectations I’d love to talk to you about this one.

If you haven’t got an up to date CV, don’t worry, you can just send me what you do have ((url removed)) or get in touch another way – I know not everyone has one to hand.

My number is on our site, along with LinkedIn details to connect (Adam Williams).
