Position: Purchasing Administrator (Part time)

Location: Solihull

Part time: 25 hours per week, flexible working pattern

Rate: £11 - £12 per hour

A Purchasing Administrator is required for an established distributor of specialist trade tools. As Purchasing Administrator you will be supporting the Purchasing Manager to strive for 100% availability of all stocked items through efficiently monitoring stock levels, expediting orders, chasing suppliers, booking shipping, ordering labels and other consumables. Previous experience with Purchasing is not essential as full training will be provided.

The role of Purchasing Administrator includes the following:

Expediting orders
Monitoring stock levels, ensuring volumes don't exceed insurance limits.
Run reports and check for slow moving product lines
Liaise with sales with regards to promotions and new product lines
Recording notes and customer communication on CRM
Liaising with customers over the phone and via email
Ordering barcode labels and office consumables
Chasing suppliers to ensure stock arrives on time as agreed
Updating price increases/decreases etc.
Adding new suppliers
Data integrity through strong administration of CRM systemThe suitable candidate for Purchasing Administrator will need to possess the following experience:

Strong administration skills
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Fast paced
Good communicator, verbally and written.
