Graduate - Procurement & Supply Chain - West Sussex
£20,000 - £35,000 + Benefits
Our client, a leading Utility company is looking to recruit a recent graduate, who has either done a placement year or internship within a Procurement or Supply Chain role. Our client will also consider a graduate with 12 months experience within a procurement & supply chain role with a view to fast-track your career. You will be joining an organisation that has being going through a transformation to drive change, which will provide leadership and development training throughout your career.
Role:
- Gather and analyse appropriate internal and external data and conduct in depth analysis to support the delivery of category/sub-category strategies
- Seek cost reductions through driving aggregation and standardisation, and identifying opportunities to reduce spot buys/tail spend
- Engage with the business to support procurement processes within the business, including early involvement of procurement in third party spend, and providing guidance, advice, and troubleshooting on procurement processes
- Deliver against financial target and KPIs, and ensure compliance with Procurement governance processes
Experience:
- Strong academic track record (Ideally Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management of closely related degree subject)
- With good communication and data presentation skills plus ability to summarise key findings
- Who are good at problem-solving
- Ability to work alone, and/or with minimal guidance
- Permanent and unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
