Our client, a leading waste disposal and transport company based in North London are looking to take on an experienced Transport Manager/Fleet Manager to join their expanding and successful team.
The client are a leading Waste Disposal and Transport organisation that have specialist areas in waste vehicle hire, demolition services, waste collection, hazardous and COSHH waste management, waste transfer stations and aggregates. Due to continued growth and expansion of the company they are now seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate for the role will have proven experience as a Transport or Fleet Manager, with good knowledge of driver and waste compliance - highly desirable. As well as this the candidate should be within a commutable distance to North London. The candidate should have excellent management and leadership qualities and be able to join the team and lead from the front.
Transport Compliance Manager Position Overview
Working in a close knit team, you will be responsible for ensuring the companies mixed fleet of vehicles adhere to compliance and health and safety standards. As well as this as a management role you will lead the transport operations and transport team on day to day duties ensuring to exceed KPI's set from managing directors. Another core duty within this role will be overseeing the transport teams training and development along with appraisals, reviews and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Transport Compliance Manager Position Requirements
Ability to lead, motivate, coach and train staff members
Excellent and clear communication skills are essential
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Problem solving skills are essential
Ability to plan and delegate work-loads efficientlyTransport Compliance Manager Position Remuneration
Monday to Friday role (6:30 - 17:00)
£40-£45k Salary Package
20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
