Demand Planner

Our client is currently reporting strong sales and to help accommodate this growth they need to ensure their supply chain is as efficient as it can be. Our client is currently recruiting for a strong demand planner to join the business and this role will play a key part in managing demand for one of their largest categories.

Key responsibilities of this demand planner role will be:

• Forecast management
• Analysing planning and inventory control, ensuring product supply to meet customer needs
• Creating and presenting information reports suggesting any department improvements where necessary and developing best practice for store replenishment
• Monitoring and reviewing these reports and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Ensuring availability of product in store
• Understanding of forecasting techniques and replenishment principles.
• Excellent consultative skills, and a willingness to challenge and question.
• Managing communication with Retail, Distribution and Demand Planning teams

The ideal candidate will have experience in a front end, retail supply chain setting or will be a demand planner currently. For the right person this is a brilliant opportunity to join a business on the up and be a part of a growing function that is still yet to reach its full potential.
