Due to a recent restructure, and a move to Strategic Sourcing and Contract management, our client is looking for a Catalogue Specialist to join their team.

The Catalogue Specialist is responsible for Procurement master data management including catalogue data, ensuring that the buying portal and associated systems are up to date with all goods and services available to internal customers. This role involves working closely with suppliers, Procurement personnel, and business users to drive efficient purchasing practices and associated cost reductions. The Catalogue Specialist also monitors compliance to buying policies and processes and identifies continuous improvement actions.

Knowledge/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or accredited vocational experience in a business administration, commerce, finance, engineering or other relevant discipline

• Procurement experience preferred, with working knowledge of procurement and supply operations. CIPS level 2 desirable

• Advanced IT skills – Microsoft Office suite to include advanced MS Excel and MS Access

• Working knowledge of materials management and procurement principles

• Good knowledge and experience of using databases

• Experience working in catalogue management desirable

• Experience gathering requirements and data from multiple stakeholders

• Experience working in utilities/regulatory environment preferable (e.g. UCR) Capability

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
