Trainee Contract Managers and Supervisors

MHR are currently recruiting our client Trainee Contract Managers and Supervisors to work throughout Glasgow Areas.

Monday to Friday

8am – 4:30pm On Site

Up to £12.00 per hour depending on experience, + company vehicle and mobile phone

The ideal candidates will show strong work ethic to each job carried and be skilled in all aspects of construction site works. These positions would be ideally suited to a team leader looking to progress their career.

The role will involve;

• Hand On Approach
• Setting Up and inspecting site works / Snagging
• General Landscaping, Fencing and Ground Maintenance
• On occasion Towing a Trailer and Operating Tractor Mowers
• Adhering to Site H&S Policies
• Reading Drawings, and completing site reports, risk assessments and measuring/ snagging works
• Reporting to Contract Manager
• Setting out Works for Teams

You must have:

• Valid CSCS Card (SSSTS and advantage)
• Minimum 5 years experience in Construction/ Landscape Industries
• The ability to work to deadlines and be PC literate
• Valid UK Drivers Licence and ability to tow a trailer
• PA1 & PA6 an advantage
• A hands on approach and ability to liaise with Site Managers, Clerks of Work and other Trades
• Experience in General Landscaping, Ground Maintenance and Fencing
• The ability to follow instruction and give instruction
