This is a rare and amazing opportunity to work for one of the largest consumer goods and services company globally, to focus on their Software Applications Development & Maintenance, Saas and ERP spend.
This role will be a mix between internal advisory to the key stakeholders within applications and IT, reviewing their current vendor base to continuously improve commercials, ensuring the business is being delivered services of the highest level. This role require someone who has real in depth knowledge of the category and supplier market to have credibility engaging with senior level, up to exec stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities:
Create, develop and implement highly strategic contract management and procurement strategies
Identify new potential sourcing opportunities with suppliers that could offer additional benefits
Understand the scope, scale and current layout of the category a implement strategies
A mix of strategic supplier relations, getting the best out of suppliers but keeping a very commercial outlook
Advise local and regional key stakeholders on technical improvements whilst ensuring best service efficiencies
Work with the legal department in ensuring contracts are compliant and have best SLA's in place
Challenge department leads on current process using market knowledge on potential improvementsExperience and requirements:
SME within the Software Applications Development & Maintenance sub-category within IT
Post contract renegotiations, changing SLA's and improving delivery
Experience in writing category strategies in a global, blue chip sized company
Confident negotiator when working with whatever level of internal or external stakeholder
Able to support a business whilst they embark complex transformation
Previously develop sourcing and RFP strategies to roll out across wider company
Highly motivated to work in a hectic, busy and fast paced environment working under pressure
MCIPS and Degree preferable, not essential
