The role,
- Managing the relationship with suppliers within category
- Executing Supply Chain Strategy
- Category sourcing and new supplier selection
- Creating and negotiating contracts
- Supply chain analysis, including risk management
- Supplier assessments and visits
- Manage direct reports
Required / desired skills and experience
- Experience within a technical engineering environment, ideally Aerospace / Defence / Oil & Gas / Automotive etc
Experience in commodity/procurement management
- Proven experience of utilising global sourcing techniques and exposure to a European and/or global supplier base
