Role: Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Manchester
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000
Our client is a leading global provider of mining and quarrying solutions and is undergoing rapid growth and change.
About the role: the client is on the hunt for a specialist who will coordinate the supply chain process for the UK contingent. Here is a snapshot of the role.
Ensure import and export meets all regulations
Establish strong working relationships with 3rd party logistics and transport teams
Ensure all customs clearances are completed accurately and on time for delivery
Maximise value of freight contracts across a range of transport functions
Qualifications/experience: for this role, it is important for the right candidate to have a set of special skills…
Experience in transportation and warehouse operations
Excellent communication skills
A working knowledge of regulations involved in transportation and warehouse operations
Degree educated
