You will join as a Procurement Assistant to provide a full-range of administrative procurement / buying support to the Sector Head: Procurement and the Construction Delivery team, including organising and coordinating procurement activities.

Procurement Assistant Responsibilities:

- Support the procurement strategies for a range of construction and maintenance elements, which can be utilised across the Imagile portfolio.
- Manage and maintain the network rebate agreements with successful suppliers.
- Monitor KPI’s with contracted suppliers, report performance and quality of service.
- Assist with the roll-out of the procurement process across the portfolio.
- Monitor the market in order to identify and report risks and opportunities.
- To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
- Comply with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of the post.

Procurement Assistant Requirements:

- Construction and / or maintenance procurement experience.
- Proven experience in the preparation of procurement agreements and documentation.
- Detailed knowledge of procurement tendering procedures.
- Knowledge of the UK construction / maintenance market.
- Basic understanding of PFI lifecycle (asset replacement) processes.
- Commercially astute.
- MS Excel & MS Word skills.
- Knowledge of ESG.
- Knowledge of GDPR.
- Experience with invoices and finance.
- Flexible approach to UK travel to meet suppliers.
- IT literate; MS Excel, Word etc.
- High degree of accuracy.
- Knowledge of PFI / PPP understanding.

Desirable:

- HTM / HBN and Building Bulletin knowledge.
- Engineering / Building Services experience.
- North West England located.
- Experience of Construction line
- ACIPS accredited qualification.
- Knowledge of standard UK Healthcare and Education sector building material specifications.
