Transport Customer Services Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year – Permanent Contract
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (occasional late working and weekend work)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Based: Addlestone, Surrey
An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our highly respected Facilities Department at Senior Management level. With a Customer Service emphasis you will lead and manage the provision of our transport service across both school sites. We are a dynamic and friendly environment seeking an energetic and strategic thinker with clear vision and solid networking and communication skills.
With excellent IT skills, you will be an Excel champion with experience using Google Maps, Office Suite, Tracking, Mapping and Database software, and a knowledge of Facilities Management Software is also desirable. Using your strong communication and people management skills you will be expected to cultivate strong relationships on multiple levels, by phone and face to face, and also engage with internal and external contacts to resolve complaints.
This position requires an innovative, fresh and enthusiastic approach to work with and assist the Head of Facilities to brainstorm and implement new business development ideas. You will need the confidence to present and must be open to new challenges and willing to learn and maintain our existing products and services.
As well as overseeing the day to day running of transport you will also be required to organise and oversee all health and safety checks and routine vehicle checks whilst adhering to both company and statutory requirements. You must also be aware of all transport legislation and procedures to ensure company compliance with a knowledge and understanding of budgets and financial controls, legislation and relevant fleet controls.
