Our client a global biotech/pharmaceutical company based in Liverpool is looking for an Inventory Controller to join their Supply Chain department.

As an Inventory Controller you will be managing inventory held across contract manufacturers and satellite warehouse, in partnership with CMP, Quality Control, Procurement, Planning and Logistics.

This role is a temporary assignment to start on the 25th of November 2019 and will currently run until 27th November 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

* To Monitor and proactively maintain inventory levels across the business as agreed through

* the S&OP process.

* To complete SAP consumption transactions, to align inventory and enable batch genealogy reporting with manufacturing at CMO.

* To continuously review systems, ensure appropriate inventory levels are kept and improve materials availability, whilst minimising cost due to write-offs.

* To take Responsibility for raising SAP Purchase orders in accordance with agreed lead times, for both CMO components and services.

* Create delivery schedules and maintain regular tracking of material status in preparation for use in CMO.

* Monitor stock receipt and engage with the relevant supplier to ensure all required documentation is received.

* Monitor and follow up testing and batch release status of materials at all locations.

Key Skills/Experience:

* An advance understanding of the principles of inventory management and control.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data to make recommendations.

* Advanced skills in SAP Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential.

* Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise.

* Strong skills in building relationships across various levels in an organization.

* Working in a highly demanding team environment.

* Knowledge of developing inventory system, policies, and procedures.

* Customer focus and attention to detail.

* Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

* Sound understanding of GMP

* Completed High School (Diploma or GED) or a degree in Business or Science
