My client based on the outskirts of St Ives is looking to recruit for a Full Time Purchasing Administrator on a permanent basis
This would be working for a company who manufacture bespoke technical equipment to the Manufacturing, Robotics, Automation and Defence industry, working within a small team covering the purchasing and shipping for the business, general administration but also with the opportunity to get involved in finance related tasks
The Role:-
- Enter Purchase Orders are on SAGE

Regularly progress outstanding PO's and chase delivery dates, updating SAGE and Production Minutes with information received

Maintain hard copy PO files

Enter goods received information from Goods Received Notes and file as appropriate

Enter Purchase Invoices, once goods are received, via SAGE POP and file as appropriate

Enter Purchase Invoices for services received directly onto the Purchase Ledger

Reconcile supplier statements and assist with preparation of the monthly payment run
- On receipt of internal instruction, arrange shipment of goods to customers via our shipping agent
- Maintain office supplies – including stationary, clothing and others as requested
- Provide general office support – to include answering telephone, photocopying, maintain diary, binding, etc. - general administration

Provide administration support for photocopiers, printers and telephone system

Maintain vehicle records and provide administration support for vehicle maintenance
- File and collate certificates – staff and building/insurances – both hard copies and on the computer
The right person for this role will have administration experience, ideally have some purchasing experience but this is not essential. You will need to be able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication and be willing to take on additional tasks as required.
The salary on offer is £18500 - £19000 DOE, hours are 9am - 5pm Mon - Fri with 30 days holiday including bank holidays, life assurance at 3 x salary after completion of probationary period and on site parking
