Job Title: Laboratory Manager (Category 2 Lab)
Salary: £30,000
Location: Cambridge
This is a great opportunity for a Laboratory Manager with experience working in a Category 2 laboratory to join an exciting start-up company who are going through an exciting growth period.
The company have recently moved into a new state of the art laboratory at the world renowned Cambridge Science Park and are looking for a laboratory manager to join the team.
Laboratory Manager Requirements:
BSc in Relevant Life Sciences subject
1-2 years' work experience in a similar laboratory
Experience with several molecular biological techniques
High standard of computer literacy
Excellent record keeping including laboratory notebooksLaboratory Manager Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to a team of scientists and engineers
Ensure that operational and regulatory needs are met in the companies category II laboratories
You would be responsible for the establishment and implementation of bio-safety, security, SOPs and processes in the CL2 lab
Responsible for maintaining stocks of important cell cultures
