Commercial / Contracts Manager

Are you an experienced Commercial Manager looking for your next role and interested in working on an exciting new global project?

My client, a market leader in their field, are looking for 2 Contract Managers join a team to manage the supply chain for a new large global deal, moving existing customer agreements over.

Working closely with the Legal team, Business Partners and Supply Chain department this role will require working in an agile, flexible and collaborative way.

Skills required:

• Strong negotiator
• Global awareness
• Understanding of complex contractual terms & conditions
• Strong business management skills and analytical approach to issues
• Ability to manage workload and delegation management skills
• Legal background or contracting experience

Desirable skills:

• Strong commercial experience in management of international and multi-national strategic supplier relationships
• Bachelor's/University Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Procurement, Finance or related field
• Be a Certified Purchasing Manager or hold the grade of Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS), or a Legal degree
• Business and cost management experience
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
• Familiar with working in international teams and management across functions

Responsibilities may include:

• Negotiate and execute, or support implementation of, product, service and resale contracts:
• Work within multifunctional teams, taking responsibility for all negotiations with suppliers and partners concerning the provision of product, services and resale ability;
• Provide a single point of contact between the client and key suppliers to effectively manage contractual and performance issues on key supplier contracts;
• Manage contractual changes in interface, scope, deliverables and SLA;
• Manage resolution of performance issues with suppliers.
