Role Profile

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join their established business in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team in a busy and fast-paced Purchasing office.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Data analysis (spend data, supplier performance, inventory)
• Managing end to end tender processes including producing tender documentation and issuing to suppliers
• Analysing and evaluating supplier bids and presenting results and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Undertaking ongoing contract management and performance reviews with key suppliers
• Supporting internal departments with queries relating to supply contracts

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Proven experience working with large data sets
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience in a Procurement role, ideally with exposure to tenders and contractual terms
• Passion to develop a career within Procurement
