Duties & Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing business to business sales across the territory.
  • Plan and manage own sales activity.
  • Building a sales pipeline.
  • Negotiating with clients at all levels.
  • Building new business solution sales.
  • Working to sales targets and goals.

Experience & Skills needed of a Business Development Manager:

  • The Business Development Manager will have previous sales experience from the carrier/logistics industry.
  • Ability to understand client needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Experience in building new business in a solution sales capacity.
  • Ambition and drive to succeed in a sales environment and increase earnings.
  • Confidence and persistence to exceed targets and goals.
